no really the next one is a hardcore cover. the main feature is following around a bunch of Godskitchen regulars tuned hardcore virgins at Neo For Ravers in Birmingham. I went up and shot the cover using a real clubber. Am so sick of dodgy models pretending to be clubbers for our cover.
it's not an in depth music or DJ led piece - before you read it then slate it - it's a club feature.
and then the next issue is "Lord of The Dance vs Lord of the Rings - which one is the real lord?"
nice!

Haha, that's a tough one. I would say Lord of the Rings is the King though.

Agreed...I really like what Silver (or whoever wrote that) had to say about hardcore never dying, because let's face it, we've proven that isn't just a bunch of talk. Happy hardcore could've died out like other genres people stopped supporting (like speed garage), but the people who are in this scene are truely committed and devoted. I know we don't need zines and media to support us for our scene to keep on living, but it's good to expose new people to the culture and the music. Many people may be afraid of commercialism, but it's not like it hasn't happened before. My prediction is it'll be a healthy boost for hardcore. 2002 was a great year for new releases (compared to the past few years), hopefully nothing will slow down in the years to come.

May this forum bring peace to all who read it, Let us pray that this christmas Viv recieves a visit from the Holy Hardcore on his visit to Damascus, Truely let us say the conversation has come full circle and we can all be friends!!
I think this forum should be printed and formed into the hardcore Bible that way any one asking can understand the scene from its beginnings to its present state..............it would save me having to re-tell every new person i meet what HHC is!!
Interesting slant on story Viv but do we get another cd or is that just greedy?
Stevie C
PS Gandalf would rip Flatley's head off and S$$T down his neck!! his little dancers left for Goblin food!!

Hello folks
Just seen this thread seems to of created quite a bit of commotion.
Personally, I feel that any support to a scene and my night is a good thing. It will introduce new people to the sound. From there they can make their own minds up.
Hardcore deserves recognition.
As for NEO we play hard NRG, techno, hard trance, hardstyle, freeform and hardcore. Hardcore is a mentality not just a sound.
