We'll be getting all the stuff up used on the stem mix before NYE, with the rest to follow throughout January.
There's a lot

A few questions for CDJay
1. Will all the material be going up on Spotify at any point?
2. Is the original version of Anything She Wants on the completionist bundle?
3. How come there isn't one CD that is presented solely as the previously unreleased Sharkey productions? For eg, why did you choose to mix up stuff like Black Rain and Bang Like A Mother with remixes from Ephexis on disc 2? Just feel like it would have felt more like an 'album disc' if that disc was purely the post Hard Life/post Bonkerz/post Kaotik Sharkey productions.... and presented a stronger artistic statement for me.
4. Are there any other previously unreleased original Sharkey productions on the completionist bundle? As that is what attracts me.

A question for everyone who has bought the completionist bundle - has it been worth it?

Nothing's been released/provided aside from Disc 1-4 of the £15 album. It's multiple weeks late and an utter disappointment. I'll be cancelling my order, I can't bring myself to care any more.

It's basicly just a kickstarter campaign, so calm down already! Be glad that Hixxy didn't do a kickstarter for raverbaby mp3's in 2004 :P
I'm more disappointed at the mastering than it being late.

I bought the completionist collection because I wanted the tracks Sharkey produced in the 90s and a lot of his unreleased work. I assumed like many that it would all be available from 13th December.
I knew the CD wouldn't ship on time because Hardcore Underground rarely do with physical products. But I am unimpressed by the lateness of the digital contents and the fact we weren't outright told how it would be distributed (ie over a number of weeks). We still never got the digital tracks that were supposed to be used in the CD4 mix, which was meant to be done by the end of 2017.
As others have said, the mastering of the tracks is not great. I am not sure if this is to do with the DAT being used or what but it certainly isn't the greatest.
And all this makes me extremely wary of buying into the ones they are planning to do for Vinylgroover, Al Storm and Stompy.

I have to agree. This has been the one I've been waiting for, for years. I really wanted this to turn out the best. I'll wait and see what the completion edition is like.

I think the mastering thing is a strange catch 22
Refering specifically to the old tracks (which is basically all I'm interested in; they are old tracks, so the likelyhood is that the end user will either be old and not DJing, just wanting to listen to them at home/not playing them out. OR if they are a current DJ will be mixing them with other old tracks, which would have had older...gentler...mastering done to them.
But they're being released in 2017/8, so the go-to seems to be to master them so that they are inline with and can be mixed with 2017 tracks.
I'm only guessing, I don't know for sure the audience who are buying them, other than myself, of course.
But I'm not a DJ, i'm not going to be playing them out. I'm going to be listening to them at home. If I do put them on my decks, as an old fogie, i'm going to be playing them alongside other tracks from that era.
I mean have a look at the waveforms. first is a sharkey track off Hardcore Innovators, back in 98, the kind of track I would consider mixing it into/out of:
Second is mind launch off tech noir.
