Bolllocks to that! Don't damage the CDs :p
The CDs are fine; they're very well packaged for (typical) shipping as a stacked pallet.
One trip to distro left to make super early a.m tommorow; then it's truly in the hands of the Gods. Obviously at this point I have held/stroked/caressed examples of the finished item and it's pretty cool.
Have I mentioned that the booklet doesn't fall out, so easily, anymore? We do learn, and attempt to apply said learning, each time.

Further (Final?) Update: I personally delivered enough units to match pre-sales to the distributor early this morning. I ensured they were loaded and moved immediately upstairs as "shipping today", then spoke to all relevant parties to ensure that everything is on track and hopefully remains that way. Additional units will be couriered from the manufacturer to the distributor tommorow.
So, stunningly, it looks like HU4 *is* going to come out on time.
More clips will be added to the microsite on Wednesday.

I'd guess at about a week after the album is out, but it very much depends on how quickly the quota is filled. Won't be long, anyway

I also found that the plastic hinges eventually split, although this may be due to extreme heat and movement in my cars door panel over the summer. That said, would be nice if it was a bit stronger, I wanted to keep all my Hardcore Underground albums in mint condition so means I'll have to buy #3 again. Think I'll just make copies for the car this time and leave the CD's safely at home. :)

yeah, they did split eventually but it's been in my car for months so it's not a surprise

Oh no! This means you'll both have to buy another copy, perhaps more!
This makes CDJay *very* sad!
Heheh.

So there will be enough copies to fill all pre-orders for all vending sites? I put mine in through HMV.
