Gabber is black dressed Holland kids, I hate Gabber, it's too fast to dance to, and I'm very strict... The only Gabber tracks I own and plan on keeping are on Deathchant, "You Don't Stop" is the only song I like... Oldskool, Freeform (The Happy Stuff), Breakbeat Hardcore, & Hardcore Breaks, are the only Vinyl I buy, MP3s very but yeah, Why is Gabber so on the come up, or are people bored with that too? See I don't Rave much because I'm broke! Just trade mixes for Kandi, lately! =)

try dancing to every other beat if you think it's too fast to dance too

gabber is the most popular form of hardcore in the world

Ok, sorry, but I'm addicted to my own styles, not what every DJ plays! Yeah, I can go out and buy a ton of Gabber and DnB and spin shows and get paid but... oh well, this was a stupid topic but please listen to what you like, don't let popularity decide what you listen to! Underground, its about enjoying music for real! =)

How odd, it's exactly what I understand under the term HARDcore. I mean, why would "your styles" (that you are so addicted to) need all those fancy other names like freeform and breakbeat hardcore (this one actually adding the name of a different genre to it!) if they are still true hardcore? We don't even use the term gabber around here to indicate that music, we just call it HARDCORE!!! Nobody in Belgium, Germany or holland these days is going to think of anything else but gabber when you bring up that term.

And what Scene are you talking about? The massive gabberscene the european continent has or the dead happy hardcore scene on that same continent?

When you look at it in the broader picture my friend, your arguements fail harder than a retard on a nuclear physics examination.

Dunno.. it's debatable...

But technically it's not a sub genre of Happy Hardcore.

i dont know why you think its too fast to dance to,most gabba today is 160-170 BPM
a normal speed for hardcore.

a lot of uk hardcore is played at 170-175.

I listen to old Gabber from the 90s! There seems to be more Old Skool Gabber (or 'Early Gabber) than Happy Hardcore in that era! I love disovering it all! It is real Hardcore!

After 98 though it has been horrible!

I Know what you mean smoogie thats why i stopped listening/dj`n in 99
but when you think about it, after the xplosion in the early/mid 90`s i suppose it could only really go one way after that.

i think i/others took the rave scene for granted..you just now realize how good we had it.

but i think ..korsakoff..angerfist..Endymion and Nosferatu etc..are doing some good stuff
and paul elstak is still at it.

do you not like any of the new trax smoogie ?
