See, it's like how Raving was when everyone spun everything, Hip House, Jungle, Booty House, My friends were all ravers in college and they grew up to Jungle because of college radio... Look I really just don't like Gabber, I'm not an enemy or a friend I just don't want to go at it about what a dope vibe is... I'm not from England, ok?! Just looking for inspirational music instead of Gospel to spin for my Church! Root for the most hated member! =(

nah, there was disco. then house. house split up into the following:
acid house, trance, old skool, jungle, and some other stuff.
old skool generally got so popular it too split up. it split up into happy hardcore, gabber, you name it.
i got this general transformation from a dj history book im reading.
quote: Oldskool is Hardcore, Gabber is a fast trancy version, DnB came later, Trance came later, Happy Hardcore came later, It's all sprung from early Rave Breaks (90-92)! I think that's true??? I grew up to IDM so, I'm like 96-97!
where the hell are you getting your sources from?
from house came old skool. from old skool we saw gabber, happy hardcore, jungle and other types all evolve in the same period. when you say Dnb came later, im like wtf..
gabber hold all the basic trends of hardcore. the only difference is the harder kick. it isnt faster, unless your referring to speedcore or deathcore...
also, you say trance came later, when actually the first trance tunes were back from 89' which was around the same time as old skool was only just appearing. this was just after the era of acid house.
in a nutshell, you dont know what you're talking about at all. i want to know how your piping up with this stuff...

hip house? booty house? :S sound like unofficial spin-off like donk house xD or scouse house..
If you dont like gabber, why dispute whether its hardcore or not?
gabber is a form of hardcore. thats a fact.
If you wanna still be a pain in the scrotch, then we'll ask why we talk about UK hardcore on 'happyhardcore.com'...

bro i really don't understand what the hell is going on in your posts lately. like seriously, they are not making any sense. step away from the forums for a few days and then come back and see what you've been posting. i quoted this post simply because you're coming off as a pretentious dick, yet i will be completely honest with you, just like all the other "superstar" djs on happyhardcore.com....
no one in america has heard of you.

happyhardcore.com is for all forms of hardcore, not just happy hardcore. I mean, even the hardcore discussion forum is simply that - hardcore discussion.

okay, it's not an easy thing to do but this thread actually makes me cringe... seriously.
I just couldn't read on after page 2.
OP seriously needs to accept that his or her knowledge of hardcore as a whole fails miserably.
now there are 3 options:
1) pipe down, listen to others and learn. looking for more info on the sides isn't bad either.
2) keep believing you're right, be sure of yourself but stfu.
3) pretend this thread never existed and move on.
I hope a mod will find it in his/her/it's heart to be merciful and put it out of it's misery by locking it.
thank you for your time
Note: sorry for whatever spelling errors, I'm tired and had a few drinks so I can't be arsed to look up the propper way to write this down :p
