Ooh, wasn't very nice about this was i!
Been listening again this past couple of days while going through some boxes of CD's and my opinion has mellowed slightly. Definitely came about because of a lack of real quality music around at the time. was a bit wrong of me to expect much more from that period looking back.
So glad that things didn't continue on that downward slope though. Now, there's almost too much music out there!
