Oh and the black panels on the wall, i'm pretty sure, are acoustic treatment panels, bass traps blah blah blah.
I see, I thought it was Decor xD
Oh wait I see, Black absorbs energy.
I normally stick my pillow to the small amount of showing wall xDxDxD
Are you serious?
You've never seen acoustic treatment? Nearly every pro studio you'll ever walk into will have walls covered with the stuff. It shortens the reverb tail drastically and flattens the resonances caused by the shape/material of the room.
I can't believe someone would criticize a pro studio for being treated with the good stuff. That's a couple thousand dollars of acoustic treatment in this studio! I'd love that. The closest I'm gonna get this year is some homemade mineral wool bass traps and some diffusers.
I don't even know what to say. Kurt, please don't assume everyone on this site is a total tool. Some of us have a life.

That may be because its a studio.. not an old ladies pretty garden ;)
I wouldn't want to spend hours at a time in there, nonetheless.. not exactly proffessional looking or inviting..
Are you daft? That's a pretty pro looking studio! It's treated with the proper Auralex stuff. If that doesn't make your cock shake you probably haven't delved too much into production.
And the top of the poster looks really pro. Who cares if the bottom is empty, this is a pretty convincing ad.
If Auralex foam makes YOUR cock shake....you need a girlfriend! ;)

To be totally honest does it matter what it looks like, seems to me Kurt's made some ****in slammin tunes in that studio. He could have a poster of a yak getting fisted by a midget in a wheelchair, aslong as the tunes keep coming out as good as they are im happy :)
Lol Wilky mate, is there a big name in hardcore you haven't had beef with :P lol

I have one, thanks ;P
Once you've worked in a fully treated studio it's hard to go back to an untreated one.

Holy shit what a thread this has turned into :p
I'd take this offer if possible :p Working with a good producer, toying with all those lovely hardware synths etc.
I would sell my soul to whatever unholy deity you believe in to own that studio

You need one that gives you sex and to take the stick out of your arse if this is the way you react to someone new to production not knowing what acoustic treatment is....

Chances are he's never been in a pro studio? The majority of us, i dare say, haven't.

Again didn't know what it was. If i walked into someones house and they had this black egg packet shaped foam on the wall, me, not knowing what it was i would question their decorative choices too.

****ing hell calm down. Who do you think comes across as more of a tool here? The noobs to producing or the "look at me i know everything about production and i'm going to judge you for being new and not doing" guy.

To be fair though, I've never been in a pro studio, or produce for that matter, and I knew what those panels were for.
Then again, I had looked into before, so maybe I'm just over educated for someone not producing anything.
