The guy's trying to get some people in the studio and the thread turns into Wilky having a war with himself and Archefluxx (constructively) criticising the advert lol.

Oh and the black panels on the wall, i'm pretty sure, are acoustic treatment panels, bass traps blah blah blah. It looks clustered, maybe, but everything there has a purpose by the looks of things, it's all equipment used to make chownes. So i can't see it being too distrcating. Unless of course you wanna play with all the pretty nobs and faders and switches and buttons... mmmm buttons.....

er.... i'd love to get in the studio with anyone at this point, but i'm poor and crimbo is round the corner and i'm not buying anyone else any present so i can treat myself to FM8 lol so no chance unfortunately

Foam absorbs bass? I dunno how they work but i don't think the colour is a factor ;). Have a look about for room treatment and aurelex, should give you a better idea, but i can't be arsed looking into it just yet.

Hahaha do it up padded room style. I actually plan on doing that, got a window right behind my right monitor that needs sorting

But think of all the fun you could have throwing yourself at walls and not being hurt. I'd do it (i'm not mad!!!), if only i had enough pillows

That may be because its a studio.. not an old ladies pretty garden ;)

I wouldn't want to spend hours at a time in there, nonetheless.. not exactly proffessional looking or inviting..

By far the most proffesional looking studio that i've seen in recent times. I't wouldn't always be that dark lol it's just for effect.

Lol this is what music production is turning into. People are so far removed from working with actual equipment in an actual studio that they don't know what the most basic functions of a studio are. It's a sad state of affairs. To all you people who have never even considered music production outside of a computer, this is what a "studio" looks like.
I'm loving the avalon btw, tasty peice of kit, would seriously love to run the Juno (or the JP even) through it's tubes.

However I do admit I am not the best photographer in the world. The pics where taken in the day and the flash made the pics look a little cold. Unfotunatly I didn't have much time and make do. The black stuff on the walls are professional auralex acoustic tiles and basstraps, specially designed for the studio environment. However .... pics do not do it any justice. It looks awesome in the evening with my dimmer lights on, really relaxing. Unfortunatly the pics didn't turn out very well in those conditions due to my shit photography skills haha.

As for Wilky .... I just pity you .... I didn't realise that someone could actually be so sad and hate the world so much. Poor boy . Kurt

The pics look good to me, as least they do the job more than well enough. I don't think you'd find many people out there who would complain lol.

It's those very posts (that you might consider to be immature) that gave me the impression if anything.

Are you daft? That's a pretty pro looking studio! It's treated with the proper Auralex stuff. If that doesn't make your cock shake you probably haven't delved too much into production.

And the top of the poster looks really pro. Who cares if the bottom is empty, this is a pretty convincing ad.
