lol not the band rush...although some canadians do make hardcore =P
like a buzz or an energy rush
and in hxc, the x is usually meant to denominate someone being straight edged =P

Hardcore was the birthplace of straight edge. Straight edges symbol is the X

So many people at my school have tats that say "Stay True"
It's going to be funny if they get a divorce and become alcoholics.

No idea. I'm trying to talk my girlfriend into going to one with me when there is a good one down here. She doesn't like hardcore that much tho. It's real disappointing :(

I curse the day I abbreviated the word hardcore...
the result being that I got barely any information about what I wanted and the thread turned into a discussion of "hxc"
^_^ s'all good tho...
One more try. Anything specific and musical that you could describe as a cliche or idiom of hardcore, or MORE specifically happy hardcore? I would prefer less than SUPER obvious things. Not like "It is happy, and hardcore". More like, "it is often at around 170 bpm" or "there is a tendency to use super saw lead melodies".
Thanx!
