sorry to interupt, but I think the Numark DXM06 2-Channel Digital Mixer seems pretty wicked

whilst my PPD01 was in repairs we bought the DXM1, the first one of the line, as a backup, whilst we waited for our other to return, my wife and i both hated the crossfader, which felt vastly inferior to the one on our ppd01, and worst of all (ok this is just an astetics thing) the metal front (blue grey area) felt as though it was made of cheep sega mega drive (sega genisis for our american cousins) plastic matirel
other than that, i havent tried the effects on this one. so im left wondering if you can control the effects via the crossfader as you can with the PPD01,
which leads to some really crazy effects whilst your scratching.
as you can see, you can change the slope on the fader too, ideal for scratching, you can set it to a great quick cut, to a nice gentle glide or any mark inbetween. the effects below can also be added to your scratching/mixing, and are all controled via the crossfader.
which i have to add is an awsome fader, its the best ive used yet, smooth, dosnt click, dosnt feel cheep...looveeeelyy
its been my favorite mixer so far, ive also had a Numark EM260 before this one, with the built in kaoss pad, which i dropped and smashed the kaoss pad after about 2 years use, i wasnt impressed with the fader on that one though, until i tried the PPD01 (and ttx1's) i was never really bowled over by numark
unfortunatly, after skipping country's my mixer has been bash around alot, thanks to those tits who shipped it, so its in repair atm, plus i might add, numark have been an absolute customer service dream, i didnt even have a warrenty for my PPD01, and they fixed it for free anyway! :D
