I want to know what you all think about Hixxy. I feel that he is one of the most original and influential Dj's that we have seen and heard of.
I have seen his work live many times and have been uplifted and he has gained my respect.
I could ramble on for ages but....

ANYONE NOTICE THERE ARE ALOT OF DJ XTC'S OUT THERE?? I MEAN, PICK SUMTHIN KOOL LIKE DJ (INSERT KOOL WORD HERE) YOU KONW WHUT I MEAN?

Hixxy has done some bangin sets off the top of my head there is space 1999 and SV vs HH so i say let hixxy rave us 4 a few more years yet

I really enjoy the trancy stuff that Hixxy has been doing lately. Very original and i can't think of anyone else who plays stuff like that. Perhaps that is why i want to play that style. It is tough finding vinyl though. Only a few labels have released that stuff and almost all of it is produced by Hixxy himself.

He has done loads of bangin hhc sets.
He's good at trance but I think he should stick to the hhc.

Hixxy's freeform sets rock very hard...
Long live his Bonkers 4 effort forever!
It's one of the oldest albums in my collection that still gets regular rotation, right up there with Northern Exposure 1 (oops, sorry wrong genre but such a groundbreaking cd i just had to mention it!)

i have never heard anyone play on three decks like hixxy,especially on the first bonkers.wow,mindblowing,he isn't my fav dj but he's near the top of my list

Hixxy's bonkers 5 cd blew me away when I first listened to it. Infact every Hixxy bonkers cd is just awsome..no matter what mood your in, Hixxy always sounds so damn GOOD.

Hixxy is both a quality producer and DJ, Toytown is always going to be one of the best songs in hardcore. Unfortunately recently although his DJing is as amazing as ever he's moving towards trance and I really hate some of the new stuff. Never listened to the whole of Bonkers 7. Will give his label Raver Baby a chance though, apparently there's some cool releases coming up.

The best thing about him is his consistantly good sets/tunes. He has never failed to impress when ive heard him.
