i also think hixxy is a great producer and toytown is still my favorite track but i dont care for his mixing to much

hixxy is definately one of the best.
I live in canada and i've never ever gotten to hear him live, i was wondering if anyone could let me know how much (approximately) he charges to play at raves.

So how are your top 2 then...?
I would have to place Hixxy first along with Dougal as second. I don't really feel though that there is a best anything in this world as everyone and everything is different. Each has there own 'unique' style and flavor, so it is just a personal preference.

Hixxy's sets are stunning and his productions are, for lack of a better word, awesome. I've enjoyed all of the tracks/sets that have crossed my path... Definately in the top 10 fave's. His progression toward a trancier feel is something that I respect him for... all DJ's evolve because if they play the same stuff for years on end, people will start expecting more, however if the change is too drastic, then he/she will lose some of the following who has grown to know and love his/her old style. In my opinion Hixxy has done a great job blending his old style with a new flavor.

I personally think hixxy's new stuff is original and ground breaking , but it is nowhere near as good as his old releases such as toytown! Fair play to him for doing his own thing but HIXXY plz come back n spin real hardcore!

I wont buy a tape pack unless Hixxy's on it. The Bonkers CDs he's been in have been amazing, I was gutted to find he wasn't on Bonkers 6!He seems to to include songs in his sets not done by anyone else, take some of the sets from the end of 1999 and in Bonkers 7. Most of his work is true masterpiece!

What can I say about Hixxy.
Too much. His just so good.
As a DJ he always plays wikkid sets.
The choons his made in the past have been exellent quality and the new stuff coming through is the nuts. I've just recently purchased Its Alright/Wecome and Wanting to get High 2001/Come Togeather on this label, and I love them. Every time I get a tape pack Hixxy's tape is one of the first that I play.
I think in my honest opinion that Hixxy is the best Hardcore DJ.
Wanting to get High is such a good choon, one of the best his done.

neva heard such uplifting and powerfull HHC ever before i listened to Toytown on da Bonkers cd!!!! i'm glad he's progressing into diff. genres, but i hope he keeps it to where da heart iz-----------> HAPPYHARDCORE FOREVA!!!!! ;)

Thanks to all those who responded with such great praise and nuttin but love for Hixxy.
It makes me feel good to know that one of the best innovators and top Dj's out there has the respect and following that only someone like Hixxy can have.
Lets hope that he keeps HHC where it's supposed to be at and keep pumping out those top tunes.
