Mostly survival shows and documentaries! I usually don't watch TV anymore and listen to music instead (if I ever am able to enjoy some free time).

There are plenty of series I want to watch...at the moment I've time for 'Game of Thrones' and finished 'Babylon 5' recently. Next one will be the rest of Breaking Bad (stuck in 3rd Season) and/or 'The Wire'.

NCIS & NCIS LA (The original is better than the LA version)
Revenge
Once Upon A Time
How I Met Your Mother
The Big Bang Theory
My friend's little brother Neil is back as an all-star, so I'm also watching So You Think You Can Dance (downloaded so I can fast forward through all the crap and just watch the dancing)
Looking forward to:
Arrested Development on Netflix
The Newsroom

I've seen the first seven episodes of The Newsroom. It's good, no question. But it's very Sorkin-sickly. He just pumps far, far too much unrealistic dialogue into every scene. It's just him flexing his muscles. Instead of choosing three or four characters to be the intelligence-focus, he can't help himself but make every character implausibly clued-up/articulate.
Other than that, it's good. Jeff Daniels is exceptional in it.

Yeah, but as an American I truly appreciate that the show tackles the things people do not like to talk about, they typically put their blinders on and just listen to faux news. The characters may be a bit implausible but overall I found it to be a great and well written show.

It does include big issues, yes. I'm not sure it "tackles" them, but it does write episodes around them.
I personally can't call it a great show because of the totally unrealistic nature of every single character. Don't get me wrong, it's certainly very watchable and much better than 95% of shows on television, but I don't think it's great.
