Any possibility of getting some song clips from some of the albums on hardcore underground store?

Could do for the cd stuff, but until it's nearer where we want it I'm unsure I want to entice anyone into the flammable tent.
It's a great album, I just wish I had pride in the thing.

Beyond pissed off that there are still only four previews for the new fracus and darwin album and virtually none for dark shadows 5

Did you check the most recent podcast? It featured a *lot* from the GFTE.
I'll get someone to do GFTE over the weekend, and ask Al Storm for DS5 ones

I'm beyond happy that I bought the album before I'd heard most of it.

I'm from a time when albums were mostly unheard before release.
Still enjoy that element of surprise.

How much work did Sharkey had to do for this project?
I mean outside of provide tunes and STEM mix.
Did he have to do all the mastering of the music? Did he have to any of the artwork?
Because if all he had to do was provide music (which was done almost a decade ago) and do up a mix then this should have been the easiest paycheque ever for him.
How hard is it to provide music that I am assuming is collecting dust in a bin somewhere.
He must hate money. Or he is a scam artist which in that case should be boycotted from the scene

Most likely sectarism, as I stated some months ago in another topic. In the world of electronic music, especially involving collectors and producers of music from 90's and early 00's, there is so much of that when it comes to release for sale the full-length digital masters of stuff that only went available on vinyl by that time. There are a lot of producers (yes, too many, unfortunately) that really HATE so much the idea of releasing for sale their early works digitally, as if that somehow deprivated them from their valued "treasure" with which they would like to be buried at death, as if they were a pharaoh. That sensation is so strong in them that they even reject stubbornly the chance to earn more money by selling their works digitally (even being just that, digital COPIES); they just prefer to feed their narcisism, megalomany, selfishness and egocentrism with the yearnings of the people who claim for their works to be released and sold digitally.

CDJay and I drove to Sharkey's house and recorded the DATs together. Sharkey put a lot of effort into the stem mix, and it turned out great. However he did deliver his mix very late despite many warnings about deadlines, resulting in the album being late.
Apart from that, the tracks were mastered through HU, and CDJay was mainly responsible for the tracklist of the physical CD and getting the artwork sorted (the artwork was made by the artist who did the original Bonkers artwork). I won't even go into the number of hours CDJay spent on the phone to Sharkey and driving up and down the country to get all this sorted!
I made the DDP images (kind of like a Nero CD image from back in the day or a PDF when it comes to documents or images) for manufacture and made sure the CD text was correct and working on most systems.
We then got the CDs manufactured and shipped to HU HQ, and CDJay and I have shipped every single unit ourselves.
So yes, no hard feelings towards Sharkey, we all know what he's like and HU took a massive risk attempting to put out his physical CD artist album. CDJay is very passionate about the music, and does his very best to preserve it in the best possible quality when no-one else will or can. It's a shame Sharkey has gone off the radar again, and it hurts us on a personal level as well as a professional one, but who knows what the future holds...
What I do know is that whenever another clearable track resurfaces, CDJay will make sure it becomes available to the people who bought the Completionist Edition in the best possible quality.

And I am 1000% grateful to HU for releasing not only the physical album but making (what was supposed to be on album 10 years ago) available.
I mean it sucks there are still items outstanding but if you think about it Sharkey's album got released. The man himself couldn't even accomplish that feet over 10 years before having a piracy hissy fit over Hardcore Energy 2.
Plus we got TNC all out there now as well as assorted Al Storm and Euphony tunes.
The ultimate delivery would be to get a completionist Raverbaby/Jellybaby collection. Although I hear Hixxy is a much as a flake as Sharkey when it comes to releasing stuff. Must be in 'Bonkers' water ;)

Can anyone tell me if Cybersurfin' is in there? I have been holding out hope since Bonkers 5 was released that it would get a proper full release.
An epic track that seems relatively forgotten.
Too many pioneering freeform tracks seem to be lost. :(

Thanks for that. Not there unfortunately, but it was a collaboration so perhaps there is still hope for it to surface by other sources.

I talked to Matt Schwartz a while ago and he said it was done by him in house at React; I don't think Sharkey was involved in it. I asked him about the DATs and he reffered me to James Horrocks at react as being the last hope for it. He doesn't have it anymore; just does trance now if I recall correctly.
An absolute cryin' shame as that song is a prime example of all that is right with freeform...
...or was :'(
If it was truely lost to the sands of time I wouldn't be against trying to have a crack at remaking it (not remixing).
