i dont know how anyone can knock scooter or say that they were never hardcore or any good. what about songs like 'friends' one of the alltime classic hardcore songs. and i dont care if scooter charged 200 big ones for one of there shows i would pay it. they may say some corny stuff in there lyrics but for **** sake, not too many songs are as uplifting as theres are.....if im thinking about a quite night all i have to do is listen to a few scooter songs and i am ready for a massive night. they have gone tranci but it is still quiality music, who can honestly say they dont like 'the logical song'
from my point of view scooter are the bomb, there not really all that hardcore but they play quality stuff, well most of it is anyway. ill admit they have had a few dodgy ones here and there, but the magority are good. 'and the beat goes on' almost every song was awesome....i rest my case

Impossible. Its funny though Party Animals did the same. They had a keyboard or 2 and then they had a cd playing. Hey also PUSH this trance group does the same. it was atcually funny watching the clip this guys got the keyboard thumping pressing anything and theres a cd player right on top of the keyboard playing. haha imagine if the cd was scratched.

I'm not defending Scooter by any means, but stop kidding yourself if ANY trance/happy hardcore artist who play live acts (not to mention in the studio) play huge arpeggiated melodies on keyboards. If you pay attention to any electronic music you listen to, you'll recognise that the timing of every note is PERFECT, robotic, inhuman, impossible to replicate using your hands. It doesn't mean a cd player is going at all, in most cases there would be a sequencer which is fed into the synth that triggers the notes. Sometimes they use the keyboards to define which chord shapes are to be used in the melody, or play the very simple elements of the songs, such as strings.
