I agree w/all the people what said Scooter has always blown huge monkey chunks! I dunno why people evar liked Scooter, but "to each his own" I guess. I'm sure a load of people hate Weird Al and 80's pop music and I love it so whatever :D

but the've sold 10's of 1000's of CDs so they can't be that bad :)

So based on that theory Hanson, Kid Rock, and Brittany Spears are the best and most defining/skilled artists in the history of the world? Crypes!

No ... he said "they can't be that bad", not "they must be that good" - there's a difference. Marketing and hype will only get you so far - the music has to be above some minimum standard if it's to sell in that kind of volume, ie "they can't be that bad".

Yes, but if selling tens of thousands of CD's makes you "Not that bad" then selling dozens of millions must make you amazing! :D

So you're saying Kid Rock, Hansen, and Brittany Spears are all WAY above a minimum standard then? IE: Great, amazing, the best?

(Yes, I know that's not what ur saying. Just kidding around... trying to press how great Hansen (Hanson?) is!) :D

I would agree with most of you, scooter have gone way too much commerical, but when they first started they were classic. Have any of you guys seen them LIVE? I have and although i'm not a great lover of they're material, i was impressed big style! they play everything live on synths.

I'm amazed at just how far you're willing to twist my words (and, for that matter, logic and reasoning as well) just to further your argument that Hanson sucks ass - it speaks wonders how passionate you are about the issue. Kudos!

hahahaha scoooter on synths i dont think so. im sure its just a cd being played. As if u could be banging on the synths hard and jumping round and still making perfect sound and not being outa line. Impossible. Its funny though Party Animals did the same. They had a keyboard or 2 and then they had a cd playing. Hey also PUSH this trance group does the same. it was atcually funny watching the clip this guys got the keyboard thumping pressing anything and theres a cd player right on top of the keyboard playing. haha imagine if the cd was scratched.

I'm with toxic here, just why was the thing postponed. Surely your would have booked them before going public?

one of the most appealing features of the hhc scene to me (other than the music) is its pretty much still underground and relatively un-commercialised. Twats like scooter and flip and fill are just dragging it down like the superclubs pimped trance post 97'

**** this commercial bull shit...its about the music, when producers start to change their sound depending on what the market forces are they should all be shot...its not an art from if your making something purely and simply to sell rekids.

sure its a bonus...but your music will suffer if thats the driving force

think prodigy, classic example of the commercial cycle in action...when did they get shit, the day they signed with sony.
