The new generation of Happy Hardcore has been a let down in my opinion, I mean come on. Bring on the OLD SKOOL!

Well for a start its not even happy hardcore. Music has to evolve or a scene starts to die (period 1998-2000ish). The new UK style is amazing, so much feeling in the music, and imo most the new stuff is better produced. :)

I know how you feel, because I felt like this at first. I have loads of old skool classic vinyl (together forever, eyeopner, origonal heart of gold etc etc) and thaught he new stuff wasn't a patch on it.
But I gave it a chance, and now I love it, having just orderd and recived shin + wizzardy from NG and defintion of a bad boy from IMO.
The new stuff is defiantly more 'deep' and perhaps a little more serious compared to old skool happy hardcore (if you kno what I mean) Don't get me wrong I *love* the old stuff, but the new stuff is really growing on me. give it a chance ok? :)

i agree i love the old stuff but i think theres little better than inovation. .. .. u cannot recapture somethi9ng that has already passed .. it would become stale. .. u can try but it will never b as good. so u need to move on.

But in my oppinion I feel a lot of todays (new uk style tracks) are "over produced" if you know what I mean.

I'm really enjoying (and buying :)) the Evo and nex gen/bb stuff :) most of it's happy, but with a lovely new skool edge :)
But yes old skool is just that, old skool :) We need to move on, and new classics are being made, no-one is going to take the old ones away, and they'll still be classics sets - like the exllent sy one on bonkers 8 as someone mentioned :)
