Nymphomaniac apparently.... Genuinely did some research and I would be classed as a sex addict if you put a label on it.
Edit: Would only need to be a small label if you actually put one ON IT ;)

Couldn't agree more on the misdiagnosing bit. Making bad lifestyle choices and then being unhappy because of it is not depression that needs to be treated with drugs. The fact that half of America has 'ADHD' is very telling. These people don't need to be given drugs, they need to change their lifestyle. It's a complete and utter joke. The drug companies are raking it in though of course so it's in their interest for people to be fed drugs that they don't actually need.

Well for all that 'genuine' research you probably skipped the entire first 5 pages of google where it tells you it's a condition females get.

All mental states are really just physical states. Your brain isn't magic, it's a bio-chemical electric machine.

I see what you mean but I think a lot of people trick themselves into thinking they have some sort of problem. I'm sure if you gave a person who had social phobia, depression etc, a placebo that apparently made their disorder go away, more than likely they are going to think it worked. Yes, your brain is a bio chemical electric machine capable of many things but you come up with ideas on your own, a neuron isn't going to tell the brain to like one genre of music over another. Not the best example but hopefully you can get a sense what I mean.

Self-diagnosed people, probably. I'm not sure they could fool a professional.
