I take it half the members on here will be excited about this release! Both my boys can't wait for it, 2 lads in work have booked a few days holiday just for it! But I don't see whats all the excitment about! I'm not a big gamer, will have a go on the Xbox when it comes out, but no doubt will be similar to the last one and the one before that, same as Fifa 12 is not much different to Fifa 11 and Fifa 10 ect! Can someone on here please explain "why" this will be the event of the year for some gamers?

I don't think anybody can, it's amazing how well the game sells despite being awful.
I'm looking forward to Wednesday when they finally release the GTA: V trailer, and then, the 18th when Skyward Sword is released.

if the online play is good then i'm happy with that (i'm hoping to be able to get online permanantly again sick of the shitty mbb dongle thingy as i now have a desktop so it aint much use) and if the multiplayer levels are as good as mw2 then i'll be even happier...best not to get my hopes up like i did with fifa 12

Probably gonna get it around christmas time, might get BF3 on Thursday when I get paid, unless I hear MW3 is absolutely amazing (which I doubt) in which case I'll get MW3 on Thursday instead... but no, I havn't been particularly excited about it, and I'm still not :P

BF3 looks much much better imho gonna ask my sisters bf if mw3 is any good l8r today he's getting it looking at some screenshots of bf3 i think i may get it 1st then mw3 in january i can't decide

But the maps are far larger, but it looks like the perfect environment for claymores. Honestly, played for a couple hours last night after the Midnight release here on the East Coast. There are so many corners, narrow passageways that claymores will ****ing DESTROY people.
I had to wait in line for an hour to get it, and I came late to the release because I worked until Midnight and I was at least 20 minutes away but had to get gas. They sold over 300 copies at the store by my house ALONE. There were far more people than Black Ops, don't know about BF3 because I haven't gotten it yet.
