first off, sorry for bumping this topic after all these months.
second, i'm sorry for my ignorance and my bad descriptions, but anyways, here it goes again:
i was basically complaining about the bad quality of happy 2b hardcore and how bad anabolic frolic was at mixing the whole stuff and the quality of the music in whole. there was no proper mastering on these cds
however.
now i have listened to some bonkers, which (i hope) aren't computer mixed and i must say this is awesome!
scott brown is a genius at mixing, equalizing, compressing and younameit!
not only is he a genius but everyone that mixes bonkers!
they sound really clean without the DJ lowering the sound for milliseconds and all.
so i hereby officially apologize for explaining myself so badly.
through the past months i have noticed that i don't care if it's a computer mixed or DJ mixed CD (which btw is by far cooler, cause you know the DJ has talent), as long as it sounds professional.
hugs

I actually find it enjoyable to find the "pops" and how stuff goes together. I never noticed some of the mixing on Happy2bHardcore 7 but then as my mixing got better I did. It made me feel good because I could tell exactly what was going on and why certain things went the way they did. As well as with This is Noize cd 1. I've never heard a few of the record imperfection before, as I tend to either space out or bounce around, but as my ears have become better its almost automatic from me to process the errors, the "pops" and the transistions to decided what went wrong and what could be done to prevent it or what went perfectly and how to duplicate it. In a sense, I'm practicing without really doing anything.

Haha, H2BH is mixed on PC. That explains a lot.
