Take for example Happy2bHardcore
The songs are good, but the quality is straight off shite!
the mixes sound unprofessional...
i mean sure, it's way much cooler when you have a dj dj:ing live at a party even if it doesn't sound perfect, but when i'm home and listen to a cd with vinyl-pops and the endings are poorly crossfaded with the beginnings, then it's just annoying...
you all know what i mean...
why would someone want to put his name on an unprofessional cd?

you can get a good idea of what they sound like live.. if all i wanted cuz tracks mixed boringly with no personality, i'd go buy some mix just mixed on a computer, and no dj involoved at all.

this whole new computer/mp3 mixing stuff is crap! it auto bmp's it for you!, and takes the fun and skill required out of DJing, and you cant scratch on it can you?! Also, Vinyl is soo much more creative that any other audio medium. mind you there are CD decks you can scratch on which are apealing, but cost a bomb! anyway, Woxxy you just insulted every DJ on here, or in the scene, almost every big dj is a proudcer, if we had this computer auto crap, then you would have talentless DJ's mixing, and there would most likely be no more tunes, you say computer mixing is better, no way its too boring and predictable, also if you drop a tune in (on mp3) its a bit if it slips out of beat, when you adjust it (push it forward) slow it down, it sounds too elctronic/crap. Hmm... saying that Woxxy are you even a DJ? if you where a DJ then you would understand, but to me you seem like a idiot.

Screw the computer DJ's. Sure they can make a bangin' mix with a laptop, but most of them have no technical DJ skills whatsoever. I've seen more than a few of these guys try to spin live and they couldn't mix cereal and milk. I personally would not put out a CD with obvious mistakes, but I think that a few pops and even a mix going slightly off center helps to remind people that it was performed by a human and not a machine.

i also feel the slight mistake helps the dj's who are not big and still in the learning curve like me (we probably all are, even the best are probably still learning). it gives you that slight feeling of i dont have to be perfect that can keep you going

this is easily fixed by choosing songs more carefully!
i mean, you could at least choose some tunes where the ending part is drums only, and the beginning part is synths only, but anyway keep it from getting out of tune... i don't care about synch, but TUNE...

there's effect units that will change the pitch for you

ive had a go on cd decks, but there just not as good as vinyl decks.....

Ok, woxxy i know where you coming from, you dont like the way some songs mix together, ie a trancey tune into a baning crazy off the wall tune, but a DJ has to do that, if the crowd if calling for it, i mean some people will not want to be dance to a sertain song, so the DJ will have to play something harder or the crowd will leave the Dance floor, ok the situation is a bit diffrent for Mix Tapes, maybe the DJ needs to improve his sets of song layouts, as in what mixes best into each other, half these DJ's dont have time to even check tracks because they have so much work to do, so they play blind! (ie they play the new promos that come onto there doorsteps). I think you like tracks to blend in as much as they can, which is really good most of the time, but if you're in a club or something, and the DJ drops a tune that sounds a bit diffrent from the other its like... "WHAO! OMG IT [insert Tune here]" and can sound soo good. anyway blah blah blah

funny enuff i was reading an article in a pc mag about mp3 vs vinyl. they said sommin about its easier to carry thousands of tracks on a good looking laptop than to carry heavy cases full of vinyl. i say **** em!! vinyl will probably be extict within the next 20-30 years because of nerds that cant carry heavy objects. 
i admit mp3's are good for upcomming dj's as it can get their material to a bigger audience but to say its better than the masterfull art of vinyl?!!

yeah i don't find it too impressive when someone says listen to this mix.....and it deads good and they say, yeah my computer worked out the beats for me:S whats the point if the pc is gonna do it for ya, wheres the fun, wheres the frustration when u can't get it right, wheres the buzz when u run out a storming mix?? more like where's the talent or skill. i don't see clicking the mouse a few times as dj-ing. think and all,what does dj stand for...disc jockey,where's there any discs involved when mixing off a computer??????
so if anyone comes to you and says yeh i'm a dj,i mix all my tunes from my computer,they are NOT a dj,simple as

On a side note: The Happy 2B Hardcore series was mixed on a computer, not live. That's why it sux, he brings in tracks too hard and the computer isn't 100% in layering (like a DJ could be) and it doesn't EQ for him so the kick drums all overlap in a harsh way.

if he did it on the computer he could've made it way more professional... i mean, within a couple of seconds you can fix all of it, so it doesn't overlap and such...
