Ah so he is, I didn't read it properly. In that case I agree because it doesn't really work IMO.

Really, it's a new genre? I don't see how they can call that a new genre tbh. :-/ It was just Hardstyle with a couple of dodgy dubstep influenced sections. Is it all like that? The main part of the tune was just Hardstyle anyway. That's like calling a hardcore tune with a dnb break Drum n Core or something equally as shit.

I think on the b side of every Hardstyle tune is a bit of an exaggeration too because that definitely isnt the case. :P

Breakbeat Hardstyle lol what a pile of shit haha

Also I don't see why everyone is talking about Dubstep, for me this sounds like a normal 140 BPM Breakbeat with Hardstyle kicks...(and it sucks haha) Dubstep is all about the basslines, I don't hear any of it in this.

That's like calling every music genre that has a breakbeat and which is at ~140bpm dub---something.. you don't call Hardcore Breaks Dubbreaks, do you? lol

Dubcore breaks haha

It's because the drums are in half time which is the other major trait of Dubstep. Breakbeat doesn't have drum patterns like this.

Listened to the other link and it's shocking. :P Hardstyle lead over a sort of Hard Dubstep drum... It doesn't really work.

A trait of dubstep that it completely stole from hip hop. So why is this "dubstyle"? Why isn't it, Iunno "hipstyle" or "hopstyle" or "rapstyle" or something like that. The half speed break is FAR more associated with hip hop than dubstep.

There is far more to what makes it sound like dubstep than the timing, it's clearly borrowing from dubstep regardless of the time signature.
