If you load it into a sampler then yes, of course. That is the entire point of a sampler.

Yes. If you've not been using a sampler so far how have you been managing with kicks and percussion and that kinda thing?

Is sampler = sequencer ? I'm confused …
I don't change the key of kicks.. I just place them somewhere on the field, layer them, etc etc.. and that's it actually.

No it's not. Logic has it's own sampler.

What's a cent? A hundredth of whatever :P (1 dollar = 100 cents etc). In this case it's a 100th of a semitone, thus 100 cents = 1 semitone, so it IS easy ;p
If you pitch by %, then going one semitone up means the new frequency is ~5.9463% (you can calculate it for yourself by finding the 12th root of 2 ;) 12th because there are 12 semitones to an octave) higher than your original note. Note that it works multiplicatively, not additively, which means going two semitones up is 5.9463%^2 = 12.2462% higher, instead of 11.8926% which it would be if you took 5.9463 + 5.9463.
So to increase by x semitones, increase pitch by 5.9463^x %.

I explained some pretty basic relationships between math and music.

Alright, so how much cents would it take to change this sample played in A to: C, D and G ?

No it's not. Logic has it's own sampler.
Is that an application appart ? In Logic Studio ? Because I only have Logic Pro.
You know, like PhotoShop and ImageReady also come together.

I've never used logic, as someone who uses it. Honestly it's one of the most basic functions of the program so it won't be difficult to work out.

You could just count semitones on a keyboard and multiply by 100 :p
A -> C: 300 up/900 down
A -> D: 500 up/700 down
A -> G: 200 down/1000 up
