I hope that Boing! by Dougal & Gammer is a remix of Rotterdam Termination Source - Poing! from 1992? If it is I will be having words...

Heartbeatz (Specialist Sound Remix) - Styles & Breeze Feat Karen Danzig: I bet this tune is an 'update' of the original? What would be this specialist make over?

Power Of Love - Paradise: A remake of the original by Q-tex?

Bassline Road - Darren Styles: They are running out of ideas...

Like A Rainbow - Sy-Fy: Good name for a 'Hardcore' tune really!

poing! is such a tune

That made me laugh

And actually what he's saying is true, there are so many compilations with tracks that everyone has already heard. Tracks that are already on 3 different comps!

tbh, this album could quite good...

Allot of stuff I HAVEN'T HEARD, some I have..

on paper, its featuring allot of new artists. Compared to HTID2, this is fantastic. Htid 2 contained 18 out of 20 tracks on a CD from Squad-e, and the tunes were apalling.. This has artists such as *Odyssey, Modulate, Petruccio* and JB-C.

However, the tracklisting is still dominated by Unkown, Styles, Breeze, D&G and Hixxy. I'm sorry but that is simply a pathetic attribute...

Styles (inc remixes and collabs) has 8 tracks.
Dougal and Gammer between them have 9
Breeze has 12 (inc collabs and remixes)
Sy and Unknown Between them have 7

Nonetheless... i guess its an improvement on the older albums.

Compare it to Htid 2 where 17 tracks were by Squad-e and 15 by Re-con, and you're opinion of this cd will no doubt improve..

When you compare it to CXH 5
Styles - 18 tracks (most spread out on all 3 discs at least)
Breeze - 16 tracks (majority are packed on his disc alone)
Hixxy - 14

It's quite amazing now compared to back then.

Especially Hixxy - 7 tracks on CXH6.

With lots of new names, I'm very excited for this one.

still it sucks, lol..

There's just one thing I don't understand, I say it sucks because I generally don't like new stuff, but why does everyone else say it? Because it's clubland ? You have maybe heard like 3 of the tunes that are on it, how can you judge it ? If you're not into newer stuff that's an argument, but otherwise I don't really get it.

You know, I tend to think I have no life, then when I see how some people on here actually count up the tracks by a certain artist on a given cd to make a point, I feel a bit better about myself.

Friends are all at University across the UK...

Too much time on my hands.

Ya, I am on Thanksgiving break, so I have been trying to make some crappy mixes through crappy software (virtualDJ). So I guess I still fall into the "people with no life" catagory :P

Its not really modern Hardcore though is it.

And the bit about 'tunes you have already heard, but in a differnt order' is what I got from a site that made fun of chavs years ago. It had a picture of an Ibiza Anthems mix which said 'tracks you have already heard, but in a different order. Includes 20 mixes of Darude - Sandstorm'

These days it isn't Ibiza tunes that are popular, it is the Hardcore remixes of them!

On the whole, the concept is dated and I would be suprised if people still make this type of Hardcore in two years time!

Have you officially taken 95_was_the_time's place as HHC.com/forums's most annoying user or what? Do you realise how pointless this post was, especially considering you already stated the exact same thing a couple of posts before in the same thread? Ever thought of taking part in discussions about subjects that interest you instead? I guess there's not many, too bad we don't all live in the early 90's anymore!
