I liked the specialist sounds remix, something different and on a AATW compilation no less. It's not supposed to be hardcore thoug. How about you focus not on the boxes within boxes it could be placed and just enjoy the music? ;)

Agreed. There were two Specialist Sound breakbeat remixes on CXH4: Jealous and Electric. I am glad they brought that back this year, and from the samples this Heartbeatz remix is wicked as well. I guess I'll have to wait and hear the album to make my opinion.

Just listened over the album for the first time yesterday... This album sounds like a dump circus (and that's not even taking "The Ringmaster (Intro) - MC Whizzkid" into account). :[

Really, Party Vibes is the worst track on here. Sounds like Welcome to the Club (which isn't a good thing). DOOP DOOP DOOP

I was mostly looking forward to the Dougal & Gammer tracks but was kinda disappointed. Didn't like them much (save for "Missing You (Gammer Mix) - Tom Par")

Though, disappointments aside, one track that stood out for me was "Without Doubt - Re-Con". I just thought the melody was fun and bouncy.

Higher Ground was probably too good. AATW wouldn't want to scare away their fans by showing Darren Styles can still make a wicked tune.

worst thing is i like some of the remix tracks that i really should be ashamed of liking. Alot of the tracks have something that is hard to describe. It's like a wavey warble finish that i really hope doesn't stick and get more common. hardcore orchestra is a good example of this effect.

Dropzone was on the first CXH I think ;O so they've already shown that. But I just noticed you said still, and that's from 2005 ^^

Oh really? Funny you should say that, there was a rather spiffing remix made by a member on these boards. Archefluxx or something like that. Here...

It's not spam if someone else does it for you ;)
