then i would say you have to explore your dance music boundry's a little more :P
just going to test this see if it works...
no it didnt :/
Haha really though? I know what you mean... just, usually when I listen to dance music and am dancing I don't think THIS IS BEAUTIFUL! like when a gabber kick comes in I don't say oh the beauty this is so amazing and euphoric.
But trance and liquid dnb mmm. Just overall I don't look at dance music and think of beauty. Keep in mind I mainly listen to hands up and hardcore, so maybe yes I should expand a bit.

Hardcore music for the most part is an insult to music too. And yes removing all pop music would be grand.
Music is for everyone, not only yourself.
No it isn't! I demand every producer in the world only makes what i want to hear! Liquid-Breakcore-Indie-Soul-Jazz-Dubstepcore! Anyone who wants anything different shall be terminated...
Believe it or not i don't have the power to destroy an entire music genre, take down every radio and music tv station and dispose of every pop act to grace the Earth. That statement was just my opinion, not my grand scheme. But, if there was no pop music the general public would be forced to open their eyes and see vast array of beautiful music out there. As appose to listening to what the media tells them they should be listening to. It's a shame that given all the sheep in this world i only have mutton joint every few weeks.
I agree that it would be nice if more people opened up to beautiful music (although I wouldn't put any dance music as beautiful except liquid dnb) but getting rid of pop is not the way, there is still loads of good pop music.
And I smiled at the first part :]
That's what i was getting at. Some Freeform to an extent i would class as beautiful, too and of course you've mentioned Trance and Tri - ambient / chillout.

If i listen hard enough i hear a voice resembling that of, what i imagine, a Squirel to sound like telling me to do things i don't want to do...

No, just what i imagine a Squirel to sound like from cartoon shows and drug experimentation.

If your listening to Gabber & expecting the word beautiful to describe Dance Music, then you'll probably go deaf before you find it. I suggest you splash the cash & check out this little DM gem. Ok, it might be a little Ambient but I challenge you to find me a more beautiful Dance Album

You think poker face is a 'perfect' peice of music?
What he/she said. If anything it's an insult to music, just as all pop music is.
What the ****? So you're saying music would be better if we removed all pop music from it?
Of course. The would would most definately be a better place without awful pop music (as it is). I assumed that's what everyone who liked Hardcore would think (and anyone with a decent taste in music for that matter), not the opposite; because it truly is that god awful. It's definately not 'music'. The record label owners that put this stuff out are blatantly thinking 'wow these people are idiots, they will actually buy this shit over and over again, but it makes us money so who cares'.
