I think the guide is rather fun, you must not take it so seriously ;)
besides is a great starting point for someone who doesnt know a bit about electronic, is not bullet prove and have mistakes, but if somebody likes the music surely will dig deeper ouside the guide and discover how things are.
I think is good.

a guide only for hardcore I think would be awesome, there is enough material and subgenres to make something very complete and focused, instead of trying to have ALL electornic music, which would be titanic.

I think Ishkur's a stuck up faggot and i also think his guide is complete ******** and completely biased..
It's a waste of time, and to be honest it's a bad reference, especailly for new people in EDM.. It pulls off the wrong impression and gives an immature subjective view on EDM genres.. He even has stupid genre's in there that shouldnt be in there.
The whole guide is proper out of order. Yep sure it's meant to be his guide, but it's so misleading and it really annoys me!!!
I think an actual REAL guide which isnt biased would be an awesome idea

of course it's going to biased, it's his opinion. everything on there should be taken with a grain of salt. everyone I've shown that to thinks it's funny but it's apparently hit a sore spot with you.
a real non-biased guide I feel would be difficult to do as so many people argue over what should be called what and where a certain song should fit. there are too many genre bending tunes to make things cut and dry. especially back in the early 90s when everything was pretty much classified as 'rave.'

After reading a lot of the immature comments he left on some of the genres (especially the HHC >:[ ), I kinda realize how ridiculous that "guide" is.
