Used to love the tune 'Lucid - I Can't Help Myself' about 10 years ago, heard a hardcore mix on di.fm but never found out who by... hope the one on here is it! Other than that, think I'll wait for HU4.

Personally I think that AATW have made a BIG mistake. Not that there's something wrong with this album, just that CLXH6 will be truly awful since Styles, Breeze and Hixxy won't be able to put together 3 discs of good stuff without repeating stuff from HTID2...unless they start including material from outside the RBC.

That 3rd CD should have been mixed by either Al Storm or Dougal & Gammer...though I can remember someone saying that Gammer is working on a new album mix

Gammer wrote on one of his blogs not sure which one...
Edit: his dont stay in blog back in may:)

We've been a little quiet on the album front for a while now (Since true hardcore 2 in fact)

And we're happy to announce that we finally have something in the pipeline, sadly we cant give too much away at this time, but a little tickle on the balls is better than nothing (i hope)

They did a good job, after HTID2008, of putting up CXH5 almost without repeats, so I wouldn't be worried at all. There actually isn't much, Breeze, Styles & Hixxy material on the two mixed cd's of HTID2 anyways, so I'm not too worried.

Had a spare bit of cash while shopping today so bought the new HTID 2 album. What an absolute steaming pile of poo!! Can Hardcore actually get any worse? I'm bloody sick of hearing that weak sounding kick that's in every choon.

Disc 1: Full of shitty Re-Con remixes of shitty commercial choons that were shit to begin with. Overall this disc is piss poor except maybe 2 choons which are average at best.

Disc 2: Full of Shitty Squad-E remixes this time. Nothing really worth getting excited about. Just another really poor disc full of well below average choons.

Disc 3: Anthems!! lmao. You gotta be joking. This is an embarrassment of an album. Although this is the best disc of the 3 & having the full tracks is a good thing too but the choons ain't nothing special, again with the exception of 2 maybe 3.

I'm done with new Hardcore now. Time to call it a day. It's just far too commercial sounding & has gotten to the stage now where i'm saying bye bye. I know times change & music does too but i'm finding it really difficult to see the difference between Hardcore & Clubland.
Obviously i'm gonna always listen to Hardcore but it I'll be sticking to the early stuff. None of this new shite.

not trying to insult anyone here..but anbody who buys this album and complains has only themselves to blame - all the audio samples are on the play.com website!

i listened to the album through on there and made up my mind pretty damn sharpish after hearing all the tracks.

its like buying a friggin spice girls cd and then complaining that its got too much spice girls music on it.

people should be bitching that albums arent getting released that have their style of music on it, insted of going out and buying what is clearly not going to be their style and then whining about it later.

thats not aimed at any one person in particular - but really, if you dont want clubland hardcore - dont pick up a clubland hardcore album!

Fair point. Firstly i didn't know samples were available & secondly i had the money in mostly change so in a way wanted rid of that so that's why i bought it. Sort of took a chance on it being half decent.

I love it!

I think re-con's disk is wicked, even the cascada remix isn't that bad. Squad e's disk has quite a few poor tracks on it, but some i absolutely love! Fix me and twista are 2 of my favourite tunes at the mo.

But it's worth getting just for hardcore slut and dirtbox imo. 2 excellent tunes there!

And i do not approve of the new more and more remix.
