written in the amazon.co.uk cd description bit...

Hardcore Til I Die is back and harder than ever. The biggest name in hardcore returns with the second album in the series, featuring more banging tunes from the biggest names on the scene. Mixed by Re-Con, Squad-E and Hixxy, it includes remixes of "Evacuate The Dancefloor" by Cascada, "Release Me" by Agnes, Lucid's "I Can’t Help Myself", FrankMusik's "Confusion Girl" and "Cry" by System F. This album brings all the biggest tracks in the charts and the greatest hardcore remixes together.

in the words of that little miss detonate song "now...we are ****ed" :(

and It was amazing too, I really love the Squad-E's remix of What do you want from me. Before it got released, I used to just speed up the hypasonic version, although the vocal would get warped.

The last one was shit too. Nice to see they've tried to progress further with this one, you know changed the formula up a bit, took a risk......

Its quite clear that one of the guys producing the commercial side of hardcore would do a remix of Cascada. Evacuate the Dancefloor was No. 1 (not that it means much these days) and any artist who does a remix of a track like that will get some attention...even if its the wrong type

People have slagged off Styles, Breeze and Squad-E for remixing Cascada in the past yet people have turned a blind eye to Al Storm's remix of What Hurts The Most. Why is that?

Does the reputation of the quality of the track determine the reputation of the artist or is it that the reputation determines the quality?

Some people out there seem to jump to conclusions. They say stuff like - 'oh, HE has done this...that makes it rubbish' but on the other hand, they listen to something rather similiar produced by a different artist and say 'oh, its by HIM, so that makes it good' regardless of how it actually is

I search out the stuff that I like regardless of the artist. I find some stuff by Scott Brown rubbish but that didn't stop me liking some of his other stuff. I didn't turn away from Scott Brown after listening to just a small proportion of his music

Oh yeah there was bound to be a remix of Cascada in there, i'd actually be shocked if there wasn't tbh. The Franknmusik track's a bit of a shocker though.

"Does the reputation of the quality of the track determine the reputation of the artist or is it that the reputation determines the quality?"

Good question. Tbh, i see your point. There is a lot of hypocrisy and people will happily slag Styles off because he is now a commercial success, sort of. If Al Storm was to go so far the same way, i've no doubt he'd be slagged off too. I wasn't keen on the idea of him remixing such a track, i've never listened to it so can't say whether i liked it or not but i very much doubt i would. Tbh, i'm not keen on Storm's style anymore, really didn't like his CD on HU3 and i'm hoping it won't be more of the same on 4. Much preferred his older stuff with Euphony. Thier tracks on the Bang album were ****ing sick! But he seems to have gone down a cheesier route now, signing to Raverbaby of all things, but it was bound to happen eventually, the guys been at this for ages. Just as long as Styles hasn't he? More power to him really, he deserves the recognition after all the effort he's put in and how long he's stuck with it, even if it's not my Style anynore. Though i don't say it a lot same goes for Styles.

Some people are very ignorant and snobby with their music. I don't particularly care if it's a Styles, Hixxy, CLSM or Darwin track, i'll listen first then decide whether i like it. My last two mixes featured tracks from the RBC. Imo, if it's a tune, it's a tune.
