electro is mediocre, definately a step up from house. It does have some sort of musical progression. but it still has nothing on trance

read what i wrote dumbass. musically house is dead. it is void of content. it's empty. it has no form of melody. there may be the odd track that the producer accidentally did plant a melody into, but that is a rare occasion. i think that even calling house music is a stretch of the imagination.

Your right, Electro House is awfull, a long with most of House these days. Back in 1999-2000 there was alot of real quality House. The same can be said for Trance though, it's all sounds the same now. 1998-2001 were the best years for Trance and always will be, ****ing amazing music.

Some of the best trance around is in this thread. Trance now is better than a decade ago, same said for hardcore

not as much. im still one of the people who listen more to classic euphoria and kiss clublife :D
but i think that trance nowadays is based upon too much of technical complexity. Back then, it was all about creativity and originality. anything with that 90's feel today, would be ignored by record owners since it'd be 'too simple'..
though there are some good newer tunes, juust that they aren't as well known.

dunno if this is electro, but i really liked gravity's rainbow. the van she remix is the only one iv ever bothered listening to.
