The reason i ask is because i recently got a job at a nightclub/stripclub :P and on saterdays i have to sit through 8 hours of the shite, it is such boring music in my opinion but the club packs out for the funky house nights yet for the hardcore nights its almost dead. Is there something im missing when it comes to Funky House?
So anyway...

Don't particularly like funky house, electro house on the other hand is pretty damn good.

Its very very rare that u wil get a good funky house tune. I dont like it, so dont listen 2 it.
Hed kandi is bloody awful lol house, funky house, electro and hed kandi its all just borin pish

Another thing that pisses me off about funky house is that they ruin classic trance tracks by removing the amazing beat when a song kicks in and replacing it with that crappy "Funky house" sound. Grrrr
Mind you saying that Hardcore remix's of trance tunes can be pretty awful aswell.

Dont think ive heard any funky mixes of trance. I keep away from that genre unless it just happends 2 b on the radio or tv

richard vissions "Big Floor Funk" is an amazing CD. IMO. its like 30 tracks that he whips through. a lot of fun. Also, Vissions CD "Automatic" killer!

I hate it, it is quite a girly genre of music (i dont think i know any males who own a hed kandi cd)
Some of the people annoy me though, where i live, you will get girls going out dressed as 'ravers' although if they ever went to a rave they would see that its not how actual ravers dress. and they think that they are ravers cause they listen to axwell or david guetta or whatever other shite there is.
You cannot rave to funky house.....ergo (lol geek of a word that innit) you are not a raver
