I think it has nowhere to go! hardstyle and jumpstyle are getting more popular and even the big dance mags are asking the question!

Well Hard House is absolutely massive atm. The big names are bringing out amazing tunes and the smaller names are more than chipping in. As for general Hard Dance its still immense, Technikal has tunes out every other week. Guys genious.

hardstyle just has replaced dnb as the trendy "techno" music at the moment with the mainstream. I dont think it will hurt hard dance

It's just the latest, fashionable 'thing' at the moment.

It'll pass, like all of this nasty electronic music

and then we can all get back to decent Country & Western, proper music with proper words, a decent story line with meaning and emotion....

I actually really like hardstyle (not so much jumpstyle) so I never really took a look at harddance. Do you have any YouTube links or something I could watch?

around here jump and hardstyle are considered part of harddance so I'd definitely say no to that.

Bassline has been around for quite a while mate. I like it... I hate COMMERCIAL garage though. They're not that similar.
