OK well ive been havin a bit of a muck around with makin some music,
but I can never get the right sounds out of synths (trying to make a sort of gammer-style trancey sound)
So what synths do you guys all use? And can you point me to any tutorials on how to get the right sound out of them?

The Crackwhore sound is very achieveable with VSTs.
Just need to know the waveforms

LoL, well to me it sounds like 3 layers, made up of a 303 sound, a very very filtered and distored 303 and a high pitch 303 lol.

my advice to you peeps is to keep away from vanguard its quality I think is horendous,
Try vstation or Reason top notch stuff.
Just look at it think way what you can do in vanguard you can do on any other synth if you know what your at ;)
