huge problem, has many dj's stumped, need help

so on my speakers in my headphones and in my recordings my sound quality is fuzzy, on hardcore 2004 its really bad, and do it like we do its clear, most of them are fairly fuzzy,(yes ive tried about everything i could think of, cleaning the records, adjusting the volumes etc. (ground cables) and its really buggin me so throw any ideas at me, especially if u think u know what it is

fuzzy eh?

tried adjusting the treble?

im trying to work out exactly how fuzzy sounds

what's your height adjustment on your tone arms set at? did you just get new needles or something? could be you don't have enough weight on the needles

well i just got ortofon elektro and they didnt send anything that said a height(im assuming its zero) do u know if those need adjustment?

I can't see it being much else, it propably isn't like that one some records because they are thicker.

if it's not that the only other thing I can think of if it's fuzzy is you simply don't have enough weight on the needle. have you tried playing with the tone arm weight?

I set my tonearm weight to max, but i think i figured it out, i talked to some prosound specialist and he said that i should upgrade from something other than a home stereo system, and then use a power conditioner

I had that problem and my weight was set to the max - i just added extra weight onto the headshell ( a penny and some blue tack) it does the job untill i get a new needle

I don't think your home stereo is your problem and you're probably going to waste your money. if it was working fine before with your other needles why would it be the problem now? It would make since if the fuzzyness was only happening through the stereo and not through your headphone jack.
