I think he just means finding that sound....... or maybe he was referring to the singlpe degree of freedom equations I posted before, who knows...... only Gammer knows......

i thought the formula for hardcore was:

fn2 = pi 45 (k/m) * y(B+X)

45 being the speed at which vinyl is played at.
K and M as noted as above.
Y being the BPM relative to tone
B is the hardcore constant (7.42 KJ per beat) that being the energy required to turn one BB (Buttys unit of Base) of base into 100 db of noise over the period of time it takes the turntable to rotate once at the speed with which you are playing the tune at. Now this makes the formula very complicated as it becomes a round fromula where one unit is dependant on another. O counter this problem you add X to B which represents the consistency of the tune (ie it cant just change from a happy hardcore song to gabba to trance) this gives the whole fromula a certain stability to it and it also means FN can have a value when B = 0. Comprends?

but why would the hardcore constant ever be equal to zero? The laws of physics state (and I quote) "Hardcore Will Never Die!", and hence a zero value of B is impossible...... also, why are you basing your formula around the 100dB value? I've always found that 110dB is a more appropriate value, or did you derive your equation from a distance greater than the critical maxima?
