talent is always a good thing to have.
though when you have 3 vst's open and running and your pc starts dieing - then you kinda start thinking...hmmm, i could probably do with a better pc!

I have been running aGNUla for a bit now, and its a great system. ABSOLUTELY ZERO PROBLEMS! Except I need to learn how to play the keyboard ;P. Its Kernal is so stripped that I get exceptional performance even when running like 57 processes at once. Oh, and best of all, its free :D

So, anyone with a 800mhz PIII and a midi card, go out and DL aGNUla @ http://www.agnula.org

*NOTE* please consult your physician before attempting to install linux

I am using a decent PC, SX3 and various VST instrements. If you want to use the more powerful VST's there is a thing called T.C Powercore. This is an external unit, or a PCI card which takes the load of all these power guzzling VST's.

In Uni, where I am studing Composition using Music Tech we use Mac's and DP4.5. If you can afford one, get a mac. they are much more suited to music production. imo.
