Yes i remember the original back in the day being odd. Sadly i don't have any of the tape packs from back then where the song may have featured.

there's a slight note variation in the arpeggio bit, but I wouldn't say it's out of tune. In fact it's in very F&S fashion. the only thing that goes out of tune is the vox at the very end.
I think it's a great mix, in general. :)

The Piano is out of time slightly in the original. The remake matches it perfectly.
The main improvement is the vocal loop towards the end. In the original the loop the vocal has a lower pitch out of tune element to it. In the remake he stuck it on the end instead of in the track itself which was good.
I think in terms of faithfulness to the original an excellent job was done while having a few positive improvements.

It might been my distaste to the original (the only version/remix that I actually like is Double Decka's on Ballistic Bootleg) that shapes my dislike for the free track.

unsure if these will be the final prices but i am guessing so seems as though they are both listed on the website.....
tempted with the vinyl box just purely to say i own it

Buying just the USB, the price per tracks goes for 1.55 GBP per track, which is about what it costs to buy digital tracks.
And supposedly the USB wont have enough space the actual tracks in MP3 format, so buyers will be forced to download WAV version separately.

Also reckon they should have includedthe UK dance back catalogue that isn’t their work, assume they have the rights as they owned the record label didn’t they?

It was mentioned somewhere that they have indeed been remastered.
and yes, I would've loved the uk dance backat, too!

Good to hear regards the remastering, assumed they must be, but would like it clearly stated!!!
The Follow me vinyl is not great quality, so looking forward to having a good quality version of that especially!

They seem to be going hard on not including anything from 98 or later (with some exceptions like Sunshine and the Feelin Fine remix). Not exactly a "30th anniversary" bundle is it, more like 3th anniversary.
