When these labels started I was hoping there would be a lot of fresh ideas with the new style hardcore productions. And while there have been a few standout interesting tracks. 99% of what gets released on these labels at the moment sounds like the same track with a slightly different tune.
Like seriously, is there only one sound that can be used in a newstyle hardcore track these days?
At the moment Brutal Kutz & Future Breakz seem like the only 2 big labels that are consistently keeping things interesting. From Break Beats & Housey Riffs, to Pianos with New Style Kicks to even Frenchcore & Drum N Bass sections.
Hardcore 24/7 is half way there with their Dark Shadows albums which have a lot of interesting releases. They are kind of half underground half commercial.
But yeah like I said, I'm really finding nearly everything Electric Fox & One Seventy are doing being like the same track released over & over again. How about diversifying the sounds.

I knew from the very start that they'd never change their style, but you were so adamant that they would take over from trancy hardcore :P

Ya, I don't buy a lot from the OneSeventy label simply due to their push for 160 bpm material. Electric Fox is ok because the label at least brands their tracks as Hardstyle.
While we're on the issue of labels, does anyone know DJ Overdrive from VDH? The mastering of the tracks has gone downhill over the past year; I always have to turn the volume on those tracks higher than the rest.
24/7 Hardcore was my go-to label, and honestly probably still is, but too many tracks from the label have this cushiony drum sample, that's the best way I can describe it.
Brutal Kutz is great too, but similar to 24/7, too many of their tracks have that "boom-splat-boom-splat" drum sample left over from the dubstep days.

The Trancey Hardcore is pretty much dead. Where's freeform and raverbaby these days? Pretty much at the same place as the candy hardcore you play 😂😂..
.
OneSeventy & Electric Fox are using all Hardstyle sounds, except it is all starting to sound like the same track.

I do like some of the Harder Releases on Scarred Digital and EDM core releases. I wish more labels dared to experiment like yours.

World of Obsession, where I release a lot of my stuff, is really experimental at time and you get some interesting things out on there!

They have changed their style alot over the years. still Technikore is one of the best producers in our scene. his productions are so clean and tight plus his riffs are always catchy as fk.

MY comment was mostly aimed at Electric Fox. Can't say I've checked enough 170 to be able to comment on them fully

I do know Electric Fox and OneSeventy are lending their tracks to ZYX Records for the Technobase.FM CD releases. I wonder if that's part of Technikore making the majority of tracks on the label 160 bpm.

Yeah I really liked Kor keep on raving by Catzeyez. The MC sounded Australian. Holy Moly by Rottweilerz is good too. Had never heard of these producers before.

Technikore is one of the few producers that is actually experimenting on those labels and I agree he is one of the best along with Olly P.
But are a lot of the other producers tracks on those labels that all just sound like clones of each other's tracks.
Like look at the earlier days of the Hardcore scene, every producer at the time had their own sound.
Joey Riot, Seduction, Scott Brown, Brisk, Sy etc all sounded different to each other.
