2013 was the best year of Hardcore music, or maybe when I decided to took seriously to be a bedroom DJ and focus on new taste, DJs, music and build crazy mixes. Labels like Futureworld, Hardcore Underground, UKN Records (wat happen with Chris?), RSR Recordings, were banger.
(2014: Stamina Records
2015: Klubbed Up... so yeah is a good deal).

My favourite eras for Hardcore were 1996-1999 and 2001-2007. The re-birth of the genre around 2001-2 was incredible tho! Mainly because I thought it was dead and buried after the Millenium Jam. What I loved about the ear was that the established artists from the 90s were back with new ideas (some never went away) and it was all fresh. Then you had all the new talent that burst onto the scene.
Looking back it's no wonder things dipped off heading into 2010. The amount of artists that Hardcore lost over a couple of years was incredible. People moving to other genres, or just stopping altogether.
Ham, Cube::Hard, K-Complex, Stormtrooper, Oli G, Robbie Long and Devastate, Kevin Energy and Sharkey, Vagabond, Frisky & Hujib, AMS as well as others.

Almost exactly the same for me. Although I was a little later to the 2000's stuff - life, no Internet and stuff got in the way. Soon made up for.it.

I lived it from 93 to 98, and then rediscovered it again in 2001 with the new sound, stuck with it for as long as I could then just stuck with gabber.
But I more often listen now to 88 to 93 stuff,
