I think it has to do with the nazi-crap-style or something like that, it kind has to colors, I don't know for sure what it actually symbolizes.

If it's anything like down here its probly cos if you wear a football shirt and Bill (Random name) see's you wearing it and it just so happens to be the team that beat Him last sunday when he had a £100 bet on his team winning he's gonna kick the **** outa ya...
