I guess some of you might know her: German artist "Bluemchen", also known as "Blossom".

Funny story:
She has re-entered german charts lately on rank 7 with her 1996 single "Boomerang"!

Why that? Blmchen's time is definitley over. She's currently working as an actor at some german small-town theatre. But how did she made it back to the german charts?

Its all about "Deutschland sucht den Superstar": the 7th season of "DSDS" (comparable to american idol) has just finished. Several german internet platforms have called out a strike on the DSDS artists, who usually enter the charts with a song for 1month on rank 1 and are most likeley to be never seen again after that.

So a lot of people have boycotted the winner of the 7th DSDS season, "Mehrzad Mahrashi" and have bought blmchens 1995 single "Boomerang" online and offline as a protest.

It was their aim to get a higher ranking with blmchens single than this mehrzad wanker.

They failed. But i think its awesome anyways! what do you think about that?

I think german music videos are ****ing weird as hell. But these are some good tracks.

Think we should start one off this December when the X-Factor artist is decided and see if we can get an old skool track popular! Like Steamtrain or something similar!

WOW I just realized that she was like 15/16 when she released that song?! And 14/15 when she released her first song "Herz and Herz/Heart 2 Heart" !?? correct me if I'm wrong please!

Wow I would have so fallen in love with her 15 years ago! lol
I wish they were still girls like that out there! pfft

That's a good comparaison to Just Bieber btw! Blmchen = win, Justin Bieber = fail
