I've heard theres a game called Dance Dance...(something!) & its available for the PS1 & if you get the import version (Japanese) then you get Shooting Star (HHC Version) to dance to-anyone confirm please?

Yea its Dance Dance revolution.. AKA Asians with pocket full of quarters and no job, hahahahah
I played it a few times, only to try out the bang tune, pretty good, it can get old, Id rather just bounce around and be merry, not worry about points

i acutally really like the game. not on playstation it's boring as shit, but the arcade version. i played it for fun one day with a friend and then i played it a bit more and got quite good at it. i think the arcade version's really fun, (where you actually get to jump around on the arrows) but i agree the playstation version is a waste of time.
TOYTOWN is also on one of the versions of DDR, as is a vinylgroover tune and a stompy tune (i think). then all the cheesy japanese stuff which makes most happyhardcore sound like progressive deep house in comparison hahahaha (okay an exaggeration but i don't think i've ever heard anything so cheesy/happy).
drugs is not the answer... drugs? is the question... yes is the answer

I like the game also!!.....i have the version with shooting star on...it also has follow the sun on too...
i have just been on the new euro mix 2 here.....there r sum good songs on there too but i cant rememba names!!

I like the game very much. 3rd mix has Follow the Sun which is also in 4th mix with Shooting Star. No, Toytown isn't in the game nor anything by Stompy or Vinylgroover. However, they do have choons from them in the Dancemania series by Toshiba Emi where Konami pools for songs. Yes, playing at home isn't very fun but playing at the arcade is always fun when you draw a crowd.
I can't hate DDR, if it wasn't for it then I might have never discovered hardcore. :)
Beatmania is the game that is sorta lame. A dj sim game where you have 5/7 keys and a "scratch pad".
