i doubt raves will ever be the same again due to the media. it's resposibility of the up and comers to keep the same vibe going...

ähm.... what was in '96? I still know that Dune was very famous in Germany. Who were other Happy Hardcore artists of this time? Today, I like German techno music very much, where is the difference between them and Happy Hardcore? I've read a piece of the lyrics of "4 o'clock in the morning" from Lazard in a topic in this Forum. Is this Track Happy Hardcore??
I know, many questions but I'll be happy about many answers. Excuse me for the bad English but I only learned it @ school and I needn't speak English in my normal life.

To be honest i dont think that 96 was the best time for hhc anyway, i personnaly feel that the '97-98 years were the best when tunes like Here i am, tranquillity, shooting star, techno-wonderland and the awesome Love and devotion and iv never heard anything else that even comes close to beating classic tunes like that and i dont think there ever will be! which is a real shame!
Does anyone agree?

here i am is a '96 tune, techno wonderland is a '95 tune.. and i dont think "tranquility" is quite an anthem.

oh, and i like '96 stuff more then 97 & 98

I didnt say tranquility was an anthem, i just said it was a wicked tune!
the first time i heard here i am was on one of my 97 cds, and there was a decent wonderland remix on 97 that was better than the original so there!

96-98 were the best HHC years
97-97 hardcore's best years.
96 is probably the best overall tho.

There's absolutely no doubt that '96 was the best. Back then you had brilliant tunes like 'Dougal & Seduction - It's Not Over', 'DJ Ham - Is Anybody Out There?' and 'DJ Seduction - Step To The Side'. I would LOVE it if DJs started producing tracks like those again...

You say so... in Germany it's not possible to get any HHC Tunes.
But 96 in Germany was also great ;)
