Does any one know how to do this? Basically I have a track that goes into a half speed breakdown and I want the whole thing to speed up progressively as if it were being slowly sped up on a deck.
Any help on this one greatly appreciated.

I would probably just make a long loop of the section you want to speed up and just render it and import it into Cool Edit Pro and do it manually and then paste it in the song as a sample. It'd work just the same.

Hey bulby_g, u loading a whole track into fruity or did you make the track in fruity.
If youve made the track in fruity, you can automate the bpm like you would automate other stuff but the pitch doesnt change...... dont think this would sound like the change in pitch on a deck...
If you loading the whole track in on a channel or audio clip, u can automate the pitch knob on the Channel Settings box...(not 100% sure if u can do it on an audio clip havnt tried it, but think u should be able to as u can to samples)
Dunno if im answering ur question dude...hope it helps

Yes this is exactly what I’m trying to do; sorry "pitch" was the wrong word to use.
How exactly would I go about doing this?

select an empty pattern channel, right click on bpm, and automate the bpm like u would with a filter, it tells u the bpm ur at in the green bar above the icons for piano roll sequencers etc etc :)

If you actually wanted a pitch change like on a pair of decks, Acid easily lets you adjust the pitch of any sample and has a range of 24 semitones, so you would just need to render a loop of the section you wanted to adjust, and bring it into acid and its just a leap over home from there :)
