id say the future of hardcore is whatever we decide to do with it if someone thinks my definition of hardcore aint good well then they should go out there and make theirs... isnt that what mixing and producing is all about ( giving your own flavor to a certain type of sound )

Amen - dude I totally agree, there seems to a lot more trancey influence then I'd like. Now I respect other people's choices, if they like trancey type of hardcore that's their call. I just hope more records get released with breakz and a proper stomping base kick. Speaking of which - you guys should hear luna-c's project 8 and 9. It sounds really schweet (IMO), but wont be release till about January I think.

hardcore was always remixed Top 40 club chart hits (listen to 1996/1997 tapes), it just so happens that this is while club chart hits are trancey, as well as the some of the DJ's experimenting with trance!

only 1 or 2 labels are dealing with trance-core,compare it with all the others. there's more hardcore tunes coming out than trance-core isn't there. so it's not gonna turn into all trance,it'll just divide off into a sub-genre and if it's gonna go that way then let it, buy it if you like it and stay away if you don't
