Hi, I'm trying to make some hardcore and I was if anyone could tell me where I can get get the samples that make the famouse eh eh eh eh in Hardcore songs. I'm not talking about the bass drum, I'm talking about the hard electric sound thats in most songs going eh eh eh eh. Any other a hardcore samples would be useful too. Thanks. And oh yeah and what would be the best bmp for hardcore songs? I saw the bpm in hammerhead was 180 but I'm not sure if that is the standard beat of HH.

djjum: there is no real standards, I recommend you visit a pro shop and listen to some of the keyboards and equipment there, find out the names of the equipment you like the sounds of and look around for samples of it. Second the same shops should sell sample CD's, have a listen to see if you can find something you like.

I personally sample stabs off of records, bass drums too.
´what I do is look for sections that have only those sounds playin, sample the whole section, pick the best hit, truncate, normalize and away we go!

oh yeah...tune it too
