This label is great. I picked up Who's Got The Stamina Vol 1 & 2...amazing. Really keeping it real for modern freeform hardcore.
Just wanted to post something positive about upfront hardcore for once.

I?m glad someone likes it because I think the modern freeform sound is absolutely awful and has been since around 2012. There have been a few good tracks that sort of fit the old style in recent years but wouldn?t be taken seriously in the genre these days. I

They literally just released a 3rd Transcend album called Digital Realm consisting of 17 unmixed tracks! Unbelievable did not expect this so soon after the last album! Just listening to it now and some incredible stuff on there. Glad some of these tunes finally get a release after so many years.

Stamina is hit or miss for me but I can't stand all that grinding, distorted freeform. A.B in particular.
Hard to argue with the Transcend albums, though.

Good label with a variety of sounds. Personally I have enjoyed nearly every release.

It's a shame you're not a fan, but to each their own. Out of curiosity, which hardcore sub genre/era is your favorite?

Excluding Makina, Freefrom from 2002-2007 would be my most favorite era

In terms of the mainstream I preferred the 96-98, 2006-2008 & 2014-2015 eras. In terms of the sub genres, I really loved freeform from 2005-2011 with the euphoric breakdowns that made that era totally epic. In more recent times, I really enjoyed the power stomp while it was running (the lethal theory stuff and not the cheap knock offs). Nowadays I must admit some of the new mainstream sound is very good (the stuff that avoids the dubstep/traps stuff). I?m not overly against the 160 sound apart from the speed obviously.
Freeform took a fall for me when it went dark with psi elements although the hardscspe album by poisecore and clam last year harkened back to much happier times. The only freeform is stuff I like these days as I say wouldn?t be considered proper freeform nowadays like React - gates of paradise or some of the music Ranzor knocks out.
