How do you create that low sounding freeform bass like a substanced bass or Sharkey
When I make one it either sounds like a sub bass or mid
I can never get that low enough dirty sound.

Can you post up an example? we may be able to dissect it that way.

Hey. I tried to remake the geneva patch in sylenth1. Here's what I came up with so you can analyze it.

https://we.tl/t-ZawZNTyrNW

Saw. 2 voices. tuned down. lowpass filter. a little bit of distortion. slight compression.

I also notice a bit of eq wich I played with on the cubase channel strip. Could go something like: low cut around 40Hz, boost at around 80-100Hz and a scoop on the mids around 1.3kHz

try it and let me know how it goes. :)
