Try Syntorial. It'll teach you the essentials (and then some) on how to get around on any synth out there. I'm pretty sure one of the "challenges" in syntorial is figuring out/programming a reese. for sure a dominator hoover was one.

I highly recommend it.

If you don't have it and you use Cubase, the first thing you need for the MKS 50 is the PG-300 emulator (the controller) which you can find here: http://www.cykong.com/CubaseSX/SXpanels.htm#Roland%20MKS-50%20Juno%20+%20PG-300
All parameters can be controlled by this, and i would be lost without it (i have a Juno 1 myself).
As for Reece style bass's, i would say it has less to do with the synth and more to do with the way it is programmed, which is to say if you can do it on one synth you can do it on any. However i've not tried to do it on any so i can't really help. A fair amount of resonance resonance, distortion and lowpass filtering are essential though from what i hear of the bass. Care will need to be taken with the resonance on the MKS-50 though as you rapidly lose bass the more you increase it. I'm pretty sure there is some amount of detuning going on as well, but you can't detune the oscilators on the MKS-50 (which came as somewhat a suprise to me when i first got the Juno), although you can add chorus and record it in mono for a similar effect.
