I know this is technically more of an DJ compiled mix ID rather than a track ID, but I have spent the last 9 years every so often trying to find this awesome album mix in physical form to purchase, and I have come up short every single time, even now.

I have a WMA audio file from a friend that seems to be a single-file rip of full mix that is compiled together by a DJ. He said it's an old rip, or maybe from the internet. He doesn't seem to know, as it was from his brother. Anyways, it has no tagged information whatsoever. The file was named Camel 3.wma. I've spent years trying to find it. Recently, as my skills with Google have gotten better, I found Camel Records and their CAM003 (cat. #). Sadly, it is simply an LP with two 7 minute tracks.

Neither side is at all from the audio file. My friend did say he didn't really give the name much thought when he named it and doesn't remember where it's from.

As I am not in contact with my friend anymore, I cannot get any more information. All listings on Discogs with the track I have identified do not match what I have, and I cannot easily get audio signatures because of the VERY low bitrate of the rip. ugh.

The rip is 1 hour and 17 or so minutes long.

The two tracks I've noticed that had lyrics were, for a while, unknown to me. (Lyrics farther down) The first I finally identified with the help of a friend of mine from the UK, as some mix of "Oli G & Jessica - Miasma" @ 25:15. The second contains the first part of the script of the Dark City movie. I found only one mix with that in it, and it is not this one. Below are the lyrics:

@ 29:35
First, there was darkness.
Then came the Strangers.
They were a race as old as time itself.
They had mastered the ultimate technology--
the ability to alter physical reality by will alone.
They called this ability "Tuning."
But they were dying.
Their civilization was in decline,
and so they abandoned their world,
seeking a cure for their own mortality.

Our world.

I hope it's alright for me to post a link to the rip here... I can't really figure out where else to ask.. :S

If it's called Camel **.wma, then it's highly likely a mix done by Oli G atleast.

Most of the tracks seems to be finrg or by finnish artists, especially Alek Szahala from the sounds of it.

Oh, there's Gammer - Rippin Up in there too (at 37:00)
Haze & The Acolyte - Executive at 19:00
DOK & Ponder - Ribcage (Oli G remix) at 49:30

Last track seems to be a remix of Oli G - Gir, unless that's the original (I have only heard the Arkitech remix), but based on Youtube, it seems to be hte original

If someone has posted a tracklist, i hope this helps you find it

Edit # Camel999: Thank god for Google. Someone posted this info on https://partyflock.nl/review/162:The-Hard-NRG-7-The-Hellfire-Club. Seems like this mix was a free for download on NuEnergy when it was up:

Wow. Thank you SO MUCH! That is unfortunate in a way that it never saw a proper lossless release. Oh well. I really appreciate you answering this almost decade-long search. I guess I can put this at rest, finally. I really loved the harder feel of this mix compared to most "happier" styles I am used to. Do you have any recommendations that saw a CD release? (Not sure if it's ok to ask here. :S)

I've been somewhat limited to my exposure to Hardcore as a genre, since it has mostly been searching on my own accord. Nobody where I live in the states know the scene even exists, so any recommendations are welcome, even in the Happy Hardcore style. Personal favorite release is most likely Hardcore Euphoria.

Sadly I rarelly buy mixed albums these days, so I dont have any recommendation

I do have a mix I can post (not lossless, but 320kb mp3)
http://samination.se/mix/3007/FreeformaniacsRound20(10-09-2015)
Not as "dark" as the camel mix, but more a mixture of freeform over the years (2000 to 2008)
